Trailer of my first Feature documentary Mother of Tibetans on the life and work of Irmtraut Wäger.

Synopsis
 
A woman decides to have a meaningful life after entering pension age. For 30 years Irmtraut Wäger headed German Aid To Tibetans and helped the Dalai Lama and the Tibetans in exile. She collected about 30 million Euros in donations and took care of over 5.000 Tibetan godchildren. Furthermore she facilitated the construction of schools, hospitals, kindergardens and old people’s homes all over India. Today she is seen as a shining example of successful refugee relief.

Trailer zu meinem ersten langen Dokumentarfilm über Leben und Werk von Irmtraut Wäger.

Kurzbeschreibung: Eine Frau beschließt nach ihrer Pensionierung einen sinnvollen dritten Lebensabschnitt. Irmtraut Wäger leitet 30 Jahre lang die Deutsche Tibethilfe und unterstützt den Dalai Lama und die Tibeter im Exil. Sie sammelt 30 Millionen Euro an Spenden und hilft damit über 5.000 Tibetischen Patenkindern. Außerdem ermöglicht sie so den Bau von Schulen, Krankenhäusern, Kindergärten und Altenheimen in ganz Indien. Sie gilt heute als leuchtendes Vorbild gelungener Flüchtlingshilfe.
